Our mission

Federal judges hold lifetime appointments and shape the law for decades. We believe citizens deserve easy access to factual, transparent information about who these judges are and how they came to the bench.

All data comes from CourtListener, operated by the Free Law Project — a nonprofit dedicated to free access to legal information. CourtListener maintains one of the most comprehensive databases of U.S. federal court information available to the public.
